Blue Guru Games are making their debut with The Nemean Lion, so we can’t tell you much about the company. What we can reveal, though, is that it's a debut that all studios would wish for. Honestly, we don’t even remember seeing something this good as a debut slot. So, without further ado, let’s take a closer look at everything it brings to the table. To kick things off, even the playing field is unorthodox. It has 5 reels, 5 rows and 40 paylines.

The theme of The Nemean Lion is taken from Greek mythology, so fans of such themes can rejoice. The production values are impressively good, with the slot’s atmosphere, background, and animations combining to provide an excellent experience overall.

In the base game, Temple Scatters are collected with the Scatter Symbol Collection feature. There are three meters at the top of the playing field that collect Temple Scatters that appear below. Each of them starts at 2x and is reset after free spins. For each 50 Temple Scatters you collect, you increase the win multiplier by +1x. Quite a tough road, to be fair, but it softens those runs without free spins.

Note that the meters also get reset if you change your bet size.

Once you land 3 Temple Scatters in one go, you’ll trigger the Free Spins feature with 12 free spins and potential retriggers. The positions of the triggering symbols will become multiplier positions, boosting all wins in which they feature. They can also work together by multiplying each other, which is a sweet detail. And what will happen if a Temple Scatter lands during a free spin. Well, it will either improve the win multiplier of a position or become a new multiplier position. With so many win multipliers, it’s no wonder that the slot’s jackpot is so high!
